Hungarian-Lebanese couple
This was also the case at Klaudia and Wassim's Hungarian-English wedding ceremony.
Klaudia is a Hungarian citizen and Wassim is a Lebanese citizen, so their meeting and their story together is already special.
As a ceremony officiant, my main priority is to provide an experience for both Hungarian and foreign brides and grooms and guests at bilingual international weddings that is distinctively positive for them.
No need for an interpreter
Bilingual ceremonies are very special, as bilingualism is a curiosity, and it works elegantly and seamlessly, so that as a celebrant, it is conducted in one person (and not with the help of an interpreter) in the correct presentation style.
Klaudia and Wassim also contacted me because it was important for them to have a special ceremony on their big day, they wanted something more than a ceremony conducted by a registrar, where they would have had to ask for the help of an interpreter.
It was also important for them to choose the person they liked, so they asked me to perform their ceremony for them in both English and Hungarian.

And so it was that on the hottest day of the year, surrounded by the magnificent panorama of the BOATanic Terrace&Bar, I held Klaudia and Wassim's Hungarian-English ceremony.
Feedback from guests
It's also a special experience for me when I get in touch with the foreign guests before the ceremony, we talk, and after the ceremony they come up to me and congratulate me, tell me how special the ceremony was, how beautiful the presentation was, how beautiful the pronunciation was, etc.
I am always motivated and encouraged by this feedback to prepare for each wedding ceremony with all my knowledge and heart and soul.
